Teaching a summer school class for five weeks only feels long because I have to get up at 5:30 a.m. every day. Well, it doesn't feel long so much as it feels like I'm going to fall over and pass out.

There must be a lot of call for people who want to be on The Dog Whisperer. My friend Ginia went to audition for the show, and her dog actually bit and drew blood of one of the producers. And she still didn't get on. I guess her dog needed to actually kill someone.

I'm enjoying these "dead zone" commercials by Verizon. They are funny parodies of horror movies. Of course my Verizon phone sucks so I know the fear is real!
